An acoustic band of five musicians from south-central New Jersey, we perform a blend of music that appeals to all ages, with heavy emphasis on traditional country, bluegrass, gospel, and folk tunes. While our song choices come from many musical genres, they all carry the common thread that they “speak to the heart”.
Rustic Rhythms’ vocals contain a close familial harmony that you will not find elsewhere. Using guitars, mandolin, 5-string banjo, upright bass, and occasionally Dobro, our instrumentation is a pleasing acoustic blend.
Amplification is used when required, but only to raise the volume enough to cover the area. We bring to our audiences a presentation that folks want to participate in, rather than one that forces attention or is uncomfortably overpowering.
